Lola Chammas and I founded Chammas & Marcheteau, a Paris-based law firm now with over 30 legal professionals (including 7 partners). We advise French and international clients, mostly investment funds, financial institutions, start-ups and larger corporates (such as SNCF, Airbus and Thales). Chammas & Marcheteau is a highly rated boutique independent firm in the French legal market.
We focus on Private Equity (approximately 50 deals per year in France), public and private M&A, Funds’ Structuring and Regulatory, Financial Services, Tax, IP, IT and Data Privacy. We also have a growing international department focused on investment projects in Asia and Africa (notably in the energy, mining, tech, infrastructure and heavy industry sectors).
Our French practice covers all sectors, but we are particularly active in Life Sciences (Biotech and Medtech), Technology (including IOT, Robotics, Nanotech and Computer Science), Energy and Cleantech, Hospitality, Food and Agri-business, Mobility (including Travel and Transportation), Fintech, and Media.
